Serra made one of the best shark movies since Jaws 2, with The Shallows. Now on Sky Movies there is yet another film about a shark terrorising hapless people, in Great White. The plot is pretty thin. A charter boat captain and his pregnant girlfriend encounter the creature whilst on a trip with an obnoxious rich guy and his partner.
The story meanders along exactly as you would expect. I wouldn’t say it is terrible but it has nothing new or surprising in it, and the characters are either annoying or forgettable.

Finding You (also on Sky Movies) is very different but also very predictable. Finley (Rose Reid) a young musician, meets film star Beckett (Jedidiah Goodacre) whilst on a trip to the small Irish town where he is shooting his latest movie. They fall in love but will his career prevent them being together?
This hits all the expected romcom beats. It also presents a typical Hollywood view of Ireland with its eccentric locals, a loveable and wise alcoholic, and plenty of pub sing-songs.
A subplot involving a terminally ill old lady played by Vanessa Redgrave is more interesting than the central story.
